Hello All!
It has been a while since the last newsletter, so I have many updates for you!
First of all, Thank you for
your kind donations and support for the NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) walk in which our Eating Disorders Recovery Team raised
$685! (Our team is pictured below.) It was a wonderful day for the walk, and a great way of getting Eating Disorders
recognized by the Alliance.
Secondly, Thank you for your support in
attending my many classes and workshops over the past few months. I hope that you get as much pleasure, education, and insight from these
sessions as I do!
Thirdly, I have some scheduling changes in the New
Year. At Yoga RX (2200 S. Lamar) there is a new Women's series on Saturday mornings, and the Men's Only class is now CO-ED! Ladies,
please join us in our Thursday afternoon Yoga efforts! Check the website for ALL other

For my final update I am pleased to share the news that my
program for Yoga as a treatment for body image and resulting disordered eating patterns has gone quite well. So well, that for the winter term,
I will offer two concurrent programs. You can sign up for either the Thursday or Saturday series.
Here are the details:
Thursdays, 6pm-8pm January 10th -
March 27th
Saturdays, 10am -12pm January 5th - April 5th
The series uses yoga, arts, journaling, breathing exercises, etc... to support
women in understanding and addressing issues regarding body image, food, emotions, and behavior patterns. We also fill the
studio with smiles & laughter, as well as some tears. As many of you know, this program is very close to my heart and I hope to continue to
expand and grow the series to reach all whom seek assistance in this persistent battle with false perspectives about our selves.
