Beginning Bass Clip
We've just added a sample from our Beginning Bass DVD to our
website. We unintentionally created a phenomenon with this video. Over and over people
tell us that they love to quote the oft-heard phrase, "Ready, Marshall?" "Ready, Murphy!" from the lessons. It's become a bit of a joke, and we've
even considered putting it on a t-shirt. They also tell us that DVD has helped them learn to play even after they have tried numerous other DVD and
had no luck. See for yourself.
Two Months of Blog-y Goodness
We've been blogging for two months now. We'd like to send a big thanks to the 50-70 folks who read it
every day. For the rest of you, we've posted
tons of advice on learning to play and on using the videos. We talk about the gigs we've played and about our upcoming releases, including some
behind
the scenes peaks at the new Slow Jam 2 DVD. And much more. Check it
out!

There are still a few slots available at the Murphy Method/FiddleStar camp from September 25-28 near Nashville, Tenn. Details and registration on the FiddleStar website. There is also a tentative schedule posted now. It will
be a ton of fun and the perfect place to get started (or get practice) playing with other people.
