We Got the Gold!
The thinkmarriage public awareness campaign was recently
awarded the Gold Addy from the Fox River Ad Club - a member of the 8th District of the American Advertising Federation which is made
up of Advertising Clubs throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
Our thinkmarriage campaign was entered in the awards by our
advertising partner, Arketype. Working in partnership with Communications Director Michele Olson, the thinkmarriage team is thrilled to see this vision for communications received so well by the public and the advertising community
alike.
The annual ADDY Awards are the nations largest advertising competition honoring creative excellence in all
advertising mediums.
You Love, Love Letters!
TV, radio, magazines, newspapers...everyone was interested in letting people know that Love Letter Kits were
available from thinkmarriage. The response was truly amazing. Over and over people wrote and
thanked us for making the kits available for National Marriage Week.
What’s next?
We want to hear your Love Letter Kit stories! You can be anonymous on our blog, but
the best part is…you can encourage someone else to write a love letter! We know from last year that love letters made relationships better.
Take a moment when you read this and put your story on the blog. http://www.wimarriagechat.org We want to hear from you!
Concerned About Child Poverty?
This is an excellent article we recommend reading. We had nothing to do with it being written, but it’s as
if we asked him to write it! Marriage Could Be Tool Against Child Poverty by Patrick McIlheran. Click here to read the
article.
Out and About in the Communities!
While most booths at the Bridal Fair in Fond du Lac were talking about the wedding day, Fond du Lac County
Director Jane Wendt and Community Program Director Debra Bosacki were there to encourage the participants to sign up for classes to ensure a long
healthy marriage! They networked, handed out Love Letter Kits and listened to enthusiastic comments from the people who are starting to become aware
of Great Marriages of Fond du Lac County and thinkmarriage.
Congratulations to Bethany Sulzmann and Kelly Johnson who won the gift baskets while attending a Bridal Fair in
Green Bay. The thinkmarriage booth was hosted by Community Program Director Dixie Zittlow
and Brown County Director Sarah Nass. Dixie also attended the Red and White Charity Ball recently in Milwaukee along with Milwaukee County Director
Angie Robbins. They were able to give a Love Letter Kit to every attendee and Angie took advantage of a break in the music to tell
everyone the thinkmarriage story!
