I used to be plain Lucy.  I guess I was plain and definitely skinny.  I was so hungry ALL THE TIME that I could eat a horse! Ok, maybe not a horse, but definitely a big dog; but you get my drift. I would eat and eat and eat and then throw up. My human thought I was being a pig so she cut my food back a bit.  MEOW! ...hungry!

One day my human needed to go far away...something about a "calling". She was sorry but she HAD to go and we, me and Yoda (see her story in next month’s newsletter) couldn't go.  I know about "have to" cause I HAVE TO EAT!

I was put into a box which was so scary; I threw up all over it.  Wow, was I sick.  I had only left my house one time when I was a kitten; now I am 15 years old. Anyway, these humans took me to a place that pinched and poked me and then they put a stick up my....well, enough about THAT!  After that event, back in the box I went and was taken to a new home.  When I arrived, I slowly walked out of the box and was greeted by more cats than I have ever seen!  But everybody is so nice.  We all get along, well now that they know I am Queen Lucy... oh, wait, excuse ME...Lucy II (there is another Lucy here). She knows I am Queen so I have no problems... except...ya know that pinching and poking thing that happens every now and again (don't even think about the stick)!!  Turns out something is wrong in me which makes me feel like I’m STARVING all the time; but I’m still skinny.  The nice humans here rub something on my ears (tickles) every day and I'm feeling better and not so skinny.  They hold me and pet me and let me be Queen...Oh, gotta go…TIME TO EAT!
