HR Gives Back, and How!
Rachael
Wilkins
On behalf of Safe Haven, I would like to thank all of the
members of MT|SHRM for this incredible service that you will provide for our
residents.
Last Thursday afternoon, nearly 50 of you (I understand
that's like 10% of your association!) came to hear and learn how to be
volunteers for Safe Haven.
We are very excited about this partnership and believe that
this will aid our organization and families in countless ways.
We cannot wait to begin the process, and get to know you all
more. I couldn't believe how many people showed interest in helping others and
taking time out of their busy lives to impact ours. Mary Beth and I were elated
and encouraged after leaving the meeting.
I would also like to invite you to visit our Web site to
learn more about what we do at www.safehaven.org.
Again, thank you to the sponsors, Leslie
Garrett-Stephens and Tim Potter for coordinating this
wonderful event.
Rachael Wilkins
is Director of Communications and Development for Safe Haven Family Shelter. She may be reached at 615-256-8195 and www.safehaven.org,
