Support group for teens of adult cancer patients
DFCI, Smith 308/309 Conference Rooms
10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
This group offers teenagers, aged 13-17, the chance to speak with other teens facing similar experiences and connect on topics such as changes brought about by a parent's cancer, school concerns and supports, reactions of classmates and friends, ideas for taking care of yourself, and resources that can help. Lunch will be provided. Parents/guardians are invited to participate in a separate adult group facilitated by a licensed social worker.
