We are glad we can count on a 4x4 vehicle for the drive up north: it will be loaded with 6 or 7
adults inside and a roof rack packed for the work. |
Reaching Out to the Lobi
'Sing to the Lord, praise His name; proclaim His salvation day after day. Declare His glory
among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all
peoples.' Psalm 96:2-3
On Friday, May 27th we will drive from Kumasi to the Upper West region, to a small village where an
ureached nomadic people group, the Lobi, is gathered. As part of a team that has in common the passion to serve our Lord and to be
a vessel for His love, we will be offering medical care as we share the Good News. Stand with us in prayer for a powerful time with lives
being transformed and captives being set free, for the oil of gladness instead of mourning and for a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair
as they welcome the presence of their loving Father into their hearts. Pray also for our going out and our coming back (eight days later), for safety
on the road, health and strength in a time of intense spiritual warfare. And for our children staying in Kumasi, as we will be out of reach for most
of that time. |
