State Employees Make the Difference in Lane County
Thank you, State Employees, for participating in the 2006 Governor’s State Employees Food Drive. Every year your
enthusiasm and passion make this drive, the largest fund drive in the state, a huge success by providing food and funds for thousands of Lane County
families who need help putting food on the table. More and more people are relying on emergency food to make ends meet. Your support helps us provide
emergency food assistance for those who desperately need it, while also supporting our work to address the root causes of hunger.
This is a
statewide drive, but all the food and funds raised in Lane County stay in Lane County and is put to work immediately to improve the lives of Lane
County residents. Food and funds collected during this drive help us provide emergency food assistance for 80,000 people living in Lane County
through a network of 100 human service agencies
and programs.
Thank you, State Employees, for being a partner in the work we do and for coming together to make a difference. For more
information about the Governor’s State Employees Food Drive, click here or email Deb Buchanan at
