Friends,   I pray your summer was amazing.  Our's in Young Life and WyldLife were very good!   It is hard to believe... but the new year has started and so has Young Life and WyldLIfe clubs!     On Monday - both YL and WL met for the first club. WyldlIfe is again at Pueblo gym. It was a fun night - Banana Night (see pictures). We played games and laughed, and sang Bumble Bee Tuna, did a raffle where kids earn a "Sonic Shake" to be brought to them at lunch by a leader. This does 2 things - gets leaders on campus and helps deepen and foster relationships with kids. Then Jenn delivered a solid message of"What is WyldLife" using John 10:10. WyldLife is a picture of "Abundant Life" that Jesus speaks of. Young Life also had a great time on Monday. Oreos and plexiglass (I'll leave it to your imagination), songs, and onions, and a clear picture by Darin of Jesus being God's son sent to us!   Thank you for agreeing to pray for us. We need it more than ever.  Here are our requests for this month...   We (the leadership teams) have looked at 1 Corinthians 2:1-5, focusing on vs 4 and 5. Paul states it this way - "My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom but on God's power."  We talked about what this "demonstration of the Spirit's power" might have been. We also asked the question - what demonstration would we like to see... these have become our prayer request: A revival where kids hearts are on fire. Our own kids being excited about Jesus Growth of our leadership teams and committee (both in depth of love for Christ, but also in numbers) Campaigners who "get it" Club growth (more kids mean more are hearing the Truth... the gospel) Thank you for praying for this ministry.
