Are you connected to your neighborhood ...
to your job ... to Nashville?

In last month's issue, we learned about the variety of wonderful things to do in our great city. (If you happened to miss it, click here for a recap.) Aside from enjoying all of the sights and fun that Nashville has to offer, each of us wants to be connected. There are many ways to get involved where you work, where you live, and in the community.

  • Thrive where you live! Take a walk and see what things have changed. The view from the sidewalk can offer a completely different perspective than from the front seat of your car.
  • Engage yourself where you work! Change up your lunch routine. Find a new restaurant, or invite a new co-worker to eat with you at lunch. If you always go out, then try staying in the cafeteria or break room for a different feel and to get to know different co-workers.
  • Get involved in the community! Give back to the community by volunteering. You may have time to give one hour a week, one hour a month, or one hour a year. Find an organization that you are passionate about and get involved in the way that best fits you.
