Neuropsychiatry at Alexian Brothers Hospital Network
Sandeep Vaishnavi, M.D., Ph.D., Neuropsychiatrist with the Alexian
Brothers Hospital Network (ABHN) was recently featured in the Jan./Feb. 2008 Greater Chicagoland Edition of M.D.
News: A Business and Lifestyle Magazine for Physicians.
Dr. Vaishnavi recently joined ABHN after completing his fellowship
at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. He trained in neurology and neuropsychiatry: a new field dedicated to treating unique psychiatric
disorders which are often associated with neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis and degenerative disorders such as stroke, epilepsy and
traumatic brain injury.
Dr. Vaishnavi joined the staff at ABHN in October 2007. His office is
located at the Eberly Building of Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

Self-Injury

Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital is hosting a half-day symposium on concepts
of self-injury. This program is designed for nurses, school personnel, psychologists and therapists who are interested in the treatment of
self-injurious behaviors among adolescents and adults. Cost of this program is $25 - and includes CEU Credit, continental breakfast and
lunch. CEU Credits will be provided to Nurses and LCSW/LCPC/LMFT.
