the debut of our new product,
Tzedaka Village, a
creative charity giving box craft kit for children of all ages.
Like many Jewish parents, I am always looking for ways to teach my children about the true
spirit of our Jewish traditions and celebrations. After lighting the menorah,
we do different family activities - one night might be game night, another designated
to an arts & crafts project. One night we dedicate to giving back. Rather than
exchanging presents, we
focus on an act of giving - packing up outgrown toys to give
to needy children; talking about the charities we want to support. This
year we are going to decorate our Tzedaka Village boxes to help us
remember
about giving in our daily lives.
