DONATING 'BEARLY USED' LAPTOPS

Some of your daughters might be receiving a new laptop this year or you may have an old laptop sitting at home. Harpeth Hall is now sponsoring "Bearly Used" computer donations. Laptops will be distributed among KIPP Academy, Lost Boys/African Leadership, Gilda's Club and Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. KIPP Academy will be the first priority on the number of donations because it is Harpeth Hall's main community service organization. The number of laptops distributed to each organization will depend on the amount of donations. We are fortunate to have our laptops and even more fortunate to receive new ones every couple of years. These organizations have very limited resources and would love to receive even one. If your laptop is donated, you will receive a letter from the organization to which it was donated for tax deduction purposes. Send Jacquie Watlington (watlington@harpethhall.org) or Eliza Taylor (eltaylor@harpethhall.org) information including parent(s) name(s) and address to receive the tax letter.

Non-Harpeth Hall laptops will be accepted. The laptops must be in good working order. The Bear Cave will electronically clean the laptop prior to donation. With the laptop, please include: the charger and the case (even if there are decorations on it). Donations will be accepted now through May 27. Laptops should be dropped off in the Bear Cave. On the laptop, please label computer with "For Donation."
