The Bertazonni family has been producing
well-designed stoves and ovens for the European market since 1882. The company has recently begun testing the US market with two efficiently designed
range models - the Professional series & the Modular series. The Professional series is reminiscent of the industrial look of today's Wolf or
Thermador ranges combined with the scale and restrained design of a Gaggenau unit. The range features a myriad of burner options including a center
burner that puts out 15,000 BTUS, enough to accommodate any gourmand's demand for high heat cooking. The oven is also large enough, at 30" wide to
allow you to still fit the all-important Thanksgiving turkey, as well as an additional cooking sheet.

The Modular Series incorporates a range top with a combination of
base, backsplash, & hood choices. The look is sharp & functional, scaled to fit into today's more contemporary kitchens. The ranges have a very solid
feel to them when opening the oven or switching on one of the burners. The red range is sure to make a statement in any modern kitchen. With a retail
price of $3,799 for the 5-burner range and $1,499 for the range top, the statement shouldn't wreak too much havoc on your bank
statement.

American Green
I'm always interested in ecologically sound products that
can stand their own against more mainstream products. Household paint is definitely one of those categories that have been in need for more
ecologically friendly products for a while now. I recently came a cross Yolo Colorhouse while surfing the internet and was impressed by their color
pallet as well as their ecologically friendly products. Yolo's paints have no VOC's (volatile organic compounds) which helps to make their paint
virtually fume free. The VOC's are what evaporate on standard paint, as paint dries, causing off gassing and those noxious fumes. The only byproduct
that evaporates as the Yolo paint dries is water. The paint is just as durable and scrubbable as standard paint. The paint is Green Seal Certified,
which qualifies it for LEED points on Green building projects.
The color pallet currently
consists of 40 colors inspired by nature. They also have a collection of kids colors, Yolo Sprout, due out later this year. Yolo's paint was used
inside the Sunset Magazine Breeze House, and was also recently featured in Dwell magazine. It's nice to see more environmentally sensitive products
coming to market into a product category that has had such a toxic history.

French Blue
The art of mosaics has been around for thousands of years.
From the mosaic patterns of roadways in ancient Greece, to the patterns adorning the base of Simon Rodia's Watts Towers, mosaic art comes in many
forms. We are pleased to be introducing our first collection of glass mosaics - the Aquatic Collection. The collection is manufactured by an artisan
glass manufacturer in the south of France who has been producing vibrant and amazingly translucent glass tiles for decades. The Aquatic Collection
draws inspiration from the coastal color palate of the Mediterranean and Tropics incorporating blues, greens and other combinations of natural tones
found near the ocean.
The Aquatic collection is especially made to withstand wet
environments such as showers, steam rooms, swimming pools, etc. The tile is mounted on 12 & 11/16th inch square paper sheets, which allows
for easy installation of approximately 224 tiles at once. These mosaics make for a thoroughly modern back splash in a kitchen or bathroom, and absolutely stunning in swimming pools such as the
projects shown to the left.

most recent entry regarding the innovative gray water treatment system Pontos by Hansgrohe. The Pontos system is scaled to fit single-family homes
and the conservation benefits are quite staggering. The average family of four can conserve approximately 24,000 gallons of water a year by recycling
their bath, shower, and lavatory basin water. To read more about Pontos visit Style Trends.
