PDQ Print Center provides all facets of printing and graphic design. Founded in June 1975, PDQ has grown from a small two person Print Shop to rank in the “Top 100 Quick Print Giants in the U.S.  As the largest commercial quick printer in Northeastern Pennsylvania, PDQ has evolved to a full service print facility by using the latest “state of the art” technology. PDQ has two locations, one at 301 Mulberry Street, Scranton and the other opened in 1999 at 502 Market Street, Kingston. They specialize in digital printing having invested over a million dollars in digital print  technology in the last 5 years. PDQ celebrated their 30th anniversary in 2005 and are proud of their service tradition and their recent award as “Lackawanna County’s Small Business of the Year.”

Because of their increased growth, the need arose for expansion into more service offerings, additional equipment and space. The company currently employs 22 individuals. Within three years of completing the project, they will increase their employment by six people with the retention of eight people. Old Forge Bank also provided financing for this project.

Jeffrey Box, President & CEO of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance acknowledged the strong collaborative partnership among county, regional and state organizations that assisted PDQ Print Center.  He further commended the Lackawanna County Commissioners for their commitment to economic development and for their support of business development assistance programs. These programs help businesses establish new jobs in communities across Lackawanna County and Northeastern Pennsylvania.
