Introducing our new National Consultant Coordinator
We are excited to announce our newest member to the corporate office, Lorie Ann
Krause, who will be helping us support all of you in the field. She will be leading
our consultant team starting with the T-4s.
Her previous experience in direct sales will bring new programs to our organization,
such as booking incentives and will bring much needed support for you in the field.
She will help us all to better understand what it takes to be successful in direct
sales, and show us first hand what works and what to avoid.
Lorie is based out of Des Moines, IA, but travels to our home office in Denver
frequently. She will be helping us with the filming of our new training video
on Jan. 16th and 17th, and also will be joining Janet Rickstrew in upcoming field
trainings with our T-4 people.
Without further ado, here's Laurie Ann!
****************************************************
Its January and I am looking out my window at
sunshine!
.and it is 40 degrees!
If you live in the Midwest you know it will last as long as last years goals
and resolutions. Why do we put ourselves through conscience-numbing goal-setting
sessions, only to live guilty the rest of the year?
We all have lots of Januarys behind us
If you think about it, each one of those
years brought its own challenges, heartaches, triumphs and rewards
and we survived
each one. And here we are together, facing another one. It is the proverbial you
are here of life.
So where would we really like to be January 2007; as a company, as business owners, as human beings contributing
to the welfare of our families and communities?
I am not offering another futile goal exercise nor a new way to make a New Years
resolution
sometimes those are just Wanna-be desireswhat you think others think
they should do, so you try it toothe result is, a whole lot a nutin goin on!
It takes a lot of effort to accomplish something that is not a passion of your
own heartand most of us give up
adding another memory to that nagging failure
file in the records department of our brain. Even if you accomplish it
what do
you really have at the endwhat did it really cost you? (My kids call someone
a poser who is doing something that is not their passion or gifteven kids can
tell.) But, most importantly doing something that is not what you are designed to do, is not maintainableask all those who have burned out trying!)
If your passions are your guide, you will always be where you want to be.
However, if they are not,
Someone elses will push you where you may find yourself frustrated and trapped.
We have three things: who we are, the time given to us
and the choice of how
to invest these gifts.
What if this year, we invest what we have been given in those things most valuable
to us? For most of us that is our families and communities and yes, I would encourage
you to add yourself to the list also. Sometimes in direct sales we spend so much
time trying to make the business work that we end up working for the business.
We become its slave. The enthusiastic passion of why we began got lost in the
orbit of just trying to get it done. We become almost machine-likedevoid of
joy.
At Tomboy Tools we believe your partnership with us should be giving back to
you. It should give you the time and resources to improve the quality of life
for your families, communities and allow you to take care of your own garden
too that beautiful inner person from which all the energy, life and creativity
come. As a company, we are more than ever before investing our resources, time
and talents in your success.
So, do you want to spend this next year being pushed by someone elses goals,
or creating a destiny?
Tomboy Tools Corporate and our dynamic Leader Team will help you chart your course
and provide you the tools, training and support to get there. We have lots on
the horizon to make this worth your time. But just like the farmer who inherited
the most productive land in the county and the bags of seed which were guaranteed
to produce abundantly; but, is still sitting in his kitchen. He can hope and
pray for the harvest all he wants, but he must get up from where he has been,
step out that door and PLANT-- wisely! No one can do this for him. That is the
ultimate step of faith
and 2006 offers us this threshold.
Failure is the opportunity to start over again intelligentlyI think Henry
Ford said that. So today, despite what last year handed you and those failed resolutions
and goals,
We are Smarter, Wiser, More Seasoned and
More Ready to Take Hold of the Great Big Opportunities This Year Affords Us!
