The Mark Newton Band Signs With Andrea Roberts Agency
FRANKLIN, TN – The Mark Newton Band is proud to announce their new
booking representation with The Andrea Roberts Agency (ARA). The Andrea Roberts Agency was established in 2004 and is home
to reigning IBMA Entertainers of the Year The Grascals, Special Consensus, NewFound Road and Sally Jones & The Sidewinders. Owner Andrea
Roberts is excited to be working with Mark. “I have been a fan of Mark Newton’s music since the early eighties
and more importantly, a friend for many years," she says. "I am so pleased to have the opportunity to represent Mark and his talented band and
I look forward to many more years of friendship and music that gets better with time.”
The excitement for this new partnership is mutual. "I'm really looking

Newton, one of today's most respected interpreters of bluegrass music, will be a
featured artist on the World of Bluegrass Fan Fest stage on Friday afternoon, Oct. 5th and will feature music from his longtime career and
his latest album, Hillbilly Hemingway, recognized by many as the best album of his career. Bluegrass Radio Network and
WSM Radio's Terry Herd calls Hillbilly Hemingway "a stellar project!"
Hillbilly Hemingway is also nominated for Best Graphic Design for Recorded
Project. The award winner will be announced on Wed. Oct. 3rd during the showcase luncheon, a part of the IBMA World of Bluegrass Week
Business Conference.
Mark will be busy throughout the week in Nashville
with schedule performances, booth visits and media interviews including Great American Country TV (GACTV).
