Noe Found Guilty

As the final act in the Tom Noe scandal unfolded in Toledo, it is increasingly clear that corruption and deceit within the Republican machine were also on trial. Tom Noe is a symptom of a much larger disease of corruption in state and federal politics.

"Clearly, this is the verdict we expected. Ohioans already handed down their verdict to Betty Montgomery, Ken Blackwell and others who allowed the culture of corruption to exist in Ohio,” said Chris Redfern, Ohio Democratic Party Chair. “It’s now time to turn around Ohio and move forward.”
