Introducing New Custom Training for
Working Outdoors in Warm Weather
“Ah, summer
– what power you have to make us
suffer and like
it.” Russell Baker, American Journalist
Working outdoors in the summer can
be a great way to enjoy Mother Nature, but it has its own set of hazards. That’s why FirstNet Learning is introducing a brand new course,
“Working Outdoors in Warm Weather”, to help reduce the risks and suffering associated with warm weather work and
activities.
This course is Flash®-based
and highly engaging and teaches learners to recognize
the dangers of working outdoors. Upon completion learners will know how to prevent problems related to elements of nature like the
sun, heat, tick-borne diseases, West Nile virus, and poisonous plants. Some lessons teach and reiterate information
we’ve heard since childhood: use sunscreen, cover up, and protect your eyes. Other lessons teach more in-depth subject
matter, such as knowing the difference between heat exhaustion and heat stroke – the latter of which carries a 40-50% risk of
death.
Working Outdoors in Warm Weather is a course we recommend for anyone working
outdoors, whether as a professional or simply doing weekend gardening. Upon completion, learners will be well prepared to protect themselves against
warm weather-related risks. To learn more about this new course, contact us at 1.888.948.4949 or email us at info@firstnetlearning.com.

INTRODUCING FIRSTNET TRAC.Path™
(Talent Recognition And Career Pathing)
FirstNet Learning is
pleased to announce TRAC.Path, our integrated software component designed to assist managers, HR personnel, and others in identifying, selecting,
and hiring qualified internal candidates for job openings or to aid in succession planning activities.
TRAC.Path automates,
facilitates and organizes this typically complex process by allowing users to conveniently enter their own education and job histories, skills, and
career focus into the online training system that already stores their user profiles and training data. TRAC.Path captures an array of candidate
data in areas such as candidate education, skills, work experience, and career focus.
TRAC.Path then allows
authorized managers to search the user database through friendly and efficient user interfaces utilizing both structured query tools as well as global
wild card searches. TRAC.Path can be easily integrated into any FirstNet Learning MasterCampus® or Online University, and utilizes user
records and training data already captured in FirstNet Learning’s learning management system.
FirstNet's TRAC.Path is
available now!
