	KLCIS Online University is the first online university built around WorkPlace Colleges™. These colleges include courses in three categories: KLCore, KLContinuing Education and KLCelective.  KLCore courses are identified as having a direct, positive impact on job duties or relational skills for most employees within a municipal workplace.  KLContinuing Education courses are identified as having a direct, positive impact on job duties or relational skills for some employees within a municipal workplace.  KLCelective are additional courses available through KLCIS that are outside the suite of courses currently provided by KLCIS.  KLCIS is also leading the way with FirstNet Learning in the development of custom courses created for law enforcement, seasonal workers and more.
	Virginia Municipal League Insurance Programs is proud to offer local governments and the 82,000 employees served by VML members an opportunity to expand the level of employee training.  The just-launched VML Insurance Programs Online University was built and operating in less than 45 days.  It also offers a comprehensive training curriculum of courses specific to local governments and their employees.  As with other online universities from FirstNet Learning, VMLIP Online University tracks the training of each and every employee and provides reports to each municipality.  VMLIP is also leading the way in custom course development.
	The newest online university launched by FirstNet Learning is the Vermont League of Cities & Towns Safety and Health Promotion PACIF Online University.  VLCT views their new online university as a risk management tool for PACIF members.  PACIF Online University offers a suite of online safety training courses that are available to their members 24/7.  PACIF members can take the 30-minute to hour-long classes at a time, location and pace that is convenient to them.  VLCT PACIF is committed to offering its members superior training opportunities and views their online university as a supplement to the onsite training they provide their members.
	For all three new online universities, the courses contained in the WorkPlace Colleges™ are highly interactive, using audio, video and interactive principles; they are complete with quizzes and tests.  The online universities allow users to track their progress as they move through their training and, upon completion, users may even print a custom, branded Certificate of Completion.  Administrators and supervisors can easily monitor an employee’s utilization and progress.
