Chili Cook-off a big hit
Last month the HR Career Transition Team held their 4th
semi-annual "Careers in Motion Mixer" at the offices of DBM in Brentwood. The
mixer included the chili competition and a good time was
had by all.
The goal of the Team is to help HR professionals in career
transition, new graduates, or those seeking advancement in the HR field. The
purpose of our group is to facilitate networking, share job opportunities,
discuss job market trends, teach interviewing skills, assist with resume
writing and provide guest speakers who are leaders in their field.
Nonetheless, this particular event was all about the Chili. There
were two top-winning recipes in the categories of Traditional and Non-traditional
Chili. Bekah Spires from Office Team took home
the winning ribbon for best Non-traditional recipe and Flo Rothaker took home
the ribbon for the best Traditional Chili.
So, come out to the next event to be held next spring. It will be all
about chocolate, and of course,
networking organizations with some great MT|SHRM candidates.
