New Coffee Shop - Crema, Fine Coffee and Espresso!

15 Hermitage Avenue. 255-8311. This new coffee shop in Rutledge Hill serves fine espresso and coffee, and a selection of sandwiches, quiche, pastries, muffins, and cookies. Hours are Mon - Fri, 7 am - 7 pm and Sat, 7:30 am - 3 pm.

 

New Location - SunTrust Bank!

401 Commerce Street. 391-2265. The branch office of SunTrust has moved to their new location in SunTrust Plaza. Hours are Mon - Thurs, 8:30 am - 4 pm and Fri, 8:30 am - 5 pm.

 

New Location - Koto Restaurant!

421 Union Street. 255-8122. This long-running sushi and Japanese restaurant has moved from their old location on 7th Avenue N. to Union Street. Lunch hours are Mon - Fri, 11 am - 2 pm and dinner hours are Mon - Thurs, 5 pm - 9:30 pm and Fri - Sat, 5 pm - 10:30 pm.

 

New Restaurant - Wild Wasabi!

Shalom Y'all Movie Night and Exhibition Tour

screening of Shalom Y'all and a curatorial tour of Bagels & Barbeque. Shalom Y'all is a documentary feature film about the Jewish experience in the American South. Mix and mingle prior to the screening. FREE popcorn and refreshments.

First Saturday Gallery Crawl

Sat, Feb 2. Various locations. 6 - 9 pm. Free. Art galleries throughout downtown host receptions and art openings on the first Saturday of every month. Most galleries serve free wine and other refreshments. A free shuttle provides transportation among the galleries from 6 pm to 10 pm. See the shuttle map and gallery listing here. Listings below include additional information about some of the openings. Please NOTE that 17 galleries are officially on this month's tour. The Arts Company
