Featured Charity: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is the world's premier center for the research and
treatment of catastrophic diseases in children, primarily pediatric cancers. The hospital and research facilities are where discoveries are made

The Event: New York City's premiere fashion event DESIGN CARES "A Night of a Thousand Lights," benefiting the St. Jude Children's
Research Hospital was held on April 23, 2008 at the storied Roseland Ballroom and featured featured a live runway show, restaurant and spirits
tasting, silent auction, luxury raffle, music and dancing. The host for the evening was top celebrity stylist and actor, Philip
Bloch. This was their second annual fashion event and it was an incredible success, raising more than

Featured Socialite: Lydia Hearst
Lydia Hearst: Lydia Hearst - model,
actress, socialite, philanthropist and all-around sweetheart. She sat down with us to discuss her jet-setting life. Lydia is a soft blond
haired blue eyed beauty. She's slender, approachable, (she looks you straight in the eye) and exudes a confident charm. Lydia was named to play
the role of Amelia on the hit CW show "Gossip Girl." In addition, she has recently been named the Michael Awards, Model of the
Year.
