Aurora Public Art Commission will be holding Dissecting Paint Ink and Pixels by Jessica Gondeck at the David L. Pierce Center in Aurora from October 24th until November 30th.  For more information please visit the Aurora City website.

Souleymane Badolo, choreographer for the National Ballet of Burkina Faso and African contemporary company Kongo Ba Teria, will teach classes in African dance next weekend in Chicago. Come and engage in these exciting work shops. Please contact if you are interested in more informaion and registration.  

Workshop 1 draw upon African dance and contemporary dancemaking techniques including improvisation and fusion.

Workshop 2 will teach dance from Burkina Faso.

The Art Institue of Chicago is looking for Loyola students to scholarly art-related internships available in American Art, Architecture and Design, Communications, Human Resources, Gene Siskel Film Center, Member Relations, Museum Education, Photography, Prints & Drawings, Ryerson & Burnham Libraries. AUDITIONS

Sign up for  the spring musical, Pirates of Penzance, auditions.

Auditionees should prepare a solo section of a Gilbert & Sullivan piece that shows as much vocal range as possible.
We ask that students refrain from using contemporary musical pieces.
An accompanist will be provided, however you must bring your own sheet music.
Auditions can not be longer than one minute.

Sign-up sheets are located in the Theatre Hallway, in the lower level of CFSU.

Lookingglass Theatre Company is seeking a non-equity actor/musician for Arabian Nights, ideally with experience playing the Saz, Oud, Harmonium or similar instruments and a variety of percussion instruments. To contact, please send a headshot and resume to Brea Hayes with a brief cover letter explaining your ability with the mentioned instruments and any prior stage experience.
