"Sweet" Guitar Giveaway
Nashville (August 4, 2008) - Catie Curtis, singer-songwriter
and "folk-pop goddess" (The New Yorker) is thrilled to launch The ASCAP Foundation "Aspire to
Inspire"
Guitar Initiative. On September 9th, the street date of Catie's upcoming release Sweet Life, Catie will give
away ten guitars
to children who have participated in The ASCAP Foundation Summer Guitar Program at the Fresh Air Fund Summer Camps. These children will be selected
by their guitar teachers based on their talent and passion for music.
The ASCAP Foundation "Aspire to Inspire" Guitar Initiative is made possible through a
generous private donation.
Catie will hold a reception at the Fresh Air Fund Offices in New York City on the evening of September
