What a great year 2007 has been for ReConstruct. We give God all the glory for the way He has equipped this ministry and our participants to assist
low-income homeowners with home repairs. Charts and graphs can't fully reflect the impact a ReConstruct project has in the personal lives of the
people who serve and are served. There is no way to put a number on the emotional and spiritual change of a homeowner when it doesn't cost them
anything to have their roof repaired. In the same way we can't "measure" the spiritual growth of a student or adult as they serve that homeowner. The
only way this is
done is through stories and testimonies. We share here only a few of the many stories of those changed lives. (more)

ReConstruct Golf Challenge
On Monday, April 23, 2007 over 30 local golfers raised $37,000 in our first annual ReConstruct Golf Challenge at the Old Natchez Country Club in
Franklin. We were very pleased with the outcome for both the golfers and the funds raised for the first year of this type of event.
Kevin Jenks shares his experience as one of the participants in the first annual ReConstruct
Golf Challenge. The goal of any fund raising event should be to raise awareness and then raise money. The Golf Challenge did that by educating the
golfers about the ministry of ReConstruct and developing their interest to raise money by securing sponsorships. The result was not only a great golf
outing but also significant dollars raised and additional contributors for ReConstruct.

ReConstruct Participant grows up
As a participant, ReConstruct was truly a life changing experience. It wasn't my first mission
trip, but it was the first that I didn't want to end. On past trips, by the end of the week, I was more than ready to head home to my own bed and
finally get some rest. My first summer at ReConstruct was different. (more)

2007 Financial Information
From the many homeowners who have said, "I don't know what I'd have done if ReConstruct had not
helped me," to the volunteer participant that serves them, these stories and testimonies are reminders of the importance of our mission, to equip and
prepare students and adults for a lifetime of mission service.
As we look to the future and the areas in which ReConstruct will serve, our experience and ability as an organization will also be used to assist
others who want to start a home repair ministry in their city. We consider this our way to disciple, mentor, and build the Kingdom.

For
the first time, the growth of our participation exceeded the
City of Nashville's supply budget and we experienced a shortfall of
funds for building
materials this summer. Thankfully, no resident went unserved. With a
long list of needy residents already in hand for 2008, we want to make
sure
that we have the financial means in place to serve them. In order to
involve more participants and serve more homeowners, we need to
supplement the
funding for building materials.
