NAITA Global Trade Award

Nominate Your Firm or Another Company for the 2007 NAITA Global Trade Award to be presented at the NAITA World Trade Day Luncheon on April 12, 2007, at the Von Braun Center in downtown Huntsville. 2007 Global Changes:

NAITA Seminar February 22

The 2007 Harmonized Tariff Schedule will feature revisions to 83 of the 97 chapters, and 240 headings will need to be amended. Duty rates are not expected to be impacted, but special programs and trade agreements will be affected. Furthermore, the new HTS will have an especially significant impact on companies that regularly import high technology goods (e.g. computer parts and accessories, electronic equipment, and semiconductors). In order to prepare for the upcoming HTS changes it is recommended that all companies update their internal systems and alert any parties that rely on accurate classification information.

On Thursday, February 22, NAITA and TEAM Worldwide will present a full day seminar - U.S. Harmonized System:  2007 Tariff Changes & Rules of Classification, at ADTRAN, 901 Explorer Boulevard, Huntsville - Print a Registration Form - Register online now for an overview of the proposed changes for the first quarter of 2007 to both the Harmonized Tariff and Schedule B systems, and a look at how they will impact both importers and exporters.
