OkEq Press Conference Media Coverage

Oklahomans for Equality thanks its many supporters and allies who were present in person or in spirit for our press conference yesterday.

We are proud that every major Tulsa new outlet was present to hear the moving remarks of our speakers, and the resulting coverage has been broad and positive.

We extend our special thanks to the Tulsa World for its continued support and coverage of this issue. Following Wednesday's remarkable editorial, the World featured the story on the front page of today's paper.

Support Oklahomans for Equality

The events of the past week demonstrate the crucial role Oklahomans for Equality plays in advocating for equality and justice in Oklahoma. We have represented LGBT and allied Oklahomans before the media, and spoken out on behalf of the thousands in our community whose voices are threatened by Representative Sally Kern and her supporters.

Our vital advocacy and many other services are entirely funded by individual donors like you. Please show your support of OkEq's mission by making a donation today. Your help keeps our doors open, our staff hard at work, and the fight for equality in Oklahoma alive.
