Oklahoma Deaf Spectrum, a program of Oklahomans for Equality, offers beginner's American Sign
Language classes. Cost is $50 for six weeks, and includes a workbook. To register, fill out the form and bring it to your

New Program: Basic Landscape Design

This four-session workshop will go over the basics of landscape design using handouts and
visual demonstrations. Facilitator Stephen Eberle is a third-generation
horticulturalist and holds a BS in Horticulture from Texas A&M University. The series costs $45 and includes

year's Tulsa PRIDE, will release his new album Resonate in Tulsa!
Eric's single "There's Gotta Be Something" is the #1 video on MTV's LOGO Network. Be sure to pick up his album Everywhere All at Once in the
Pride Store, and part of the proceeds will benefit OkEq.

2008 LGBT Leadership Summit

The 2008 LGBT Leadership Summit is a one-day event with
four sessions
of workshops. This year's summit features more extensive workshops about our state legislature - by far the most attended session last year - and
programs appealing to college students and young adults. There will also be two community forums. More information here.

Oklahoma faith communities and organizations proclaiming that
homosexuality is neither sickness nor sin will host a two-day Sexual
Identity &
Spirituality Conference. The conference includes keynote speaker Dr.
Deborah Appler, professor of Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) at Moravian
College,
as
well as workshops on a wide range of topics including scripture,
various spiritual and interfaith perspectives on sexuality, and
relationship issues
for families and couples. Registration is $15; some scholarship money

The Equality Center is fortunate to feature a broadband video relay service for the deaf in the David Bohnett CyberCenter. Ours is the only
