Local study seeks status of lesbian, bisexual and transgender

Dr. Lara Foley and students Emily Maach and Melody Charles of the
University of Tulsa Sociology Department are conducting focus groups
with a variety of groups of women in Tulsa, and they want to hear your
voice! The "Status of Women in Tulsa" project is an effort to
assess the needs of women in our city. The research will be presented
to the Mayor's Commission on the Status of Women this spring, as the
end goal is to help improve Tulsa's various communities and
institutions to serve women better. Join this important study to represent and improve the status of women in the LBT and Tulsa community!
