Happy New Year. The Dennis R. Neill Equality Center will re-open today and resume
regular
business hours. On behalf of Oklahomans for Equality, here's wishing everyone a wonderful 2008.
To ring in the new year, the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center art gallery will host its monthly First
Thursday meet-the-artist reception from 6-9pm, Thursday, January 3, 2008, for the opening
of its new exhibit "The Colors of Living", featuring giclee
prints of the digital art of Tulsa artist Dennis R. Scott. The reception will be catered by Wild Oats.
Described as "accidental" art, Scott has been creating digital art and imagery for the past three years. His work is unlike most digital or
computer art and his style is unique. His work is totally his own: his own way of seeing life, his own way of depicting that which he sees.
Whether one might call Scott's art abstract, impressionistic, or surreal is of little concern to the artist. Through his art he invites the viewer to
take a chance, as he has in creating his art.
Please forward to interested parties.
For more on Scott's art, please visit his website at www.dennisrscott.com.
The exhibit will remain up through the month of January, and can be viewed Monday-Saturday from 3-9pm. The
Dennis R. Neill Equality Center is located at 621 E. 4th Street.
