International Gay Bowling Organization tournament held in Tulsa
From Rick, Tulsa Lambda
League:
The International Gay Bowling Organization (IGBO) held its Mid-Year Tournament in Oklahoma City
November 8-11, 2007. More than 370 bowlers participated in this tournament. They came from all areas of the U.S. and Canada. Tulsa was well
represented with 23 bowlers from the Tulsa Lambda Bowling League in attendance. Everyone had a great time and several of our Tulsa bowlers captured
top spots:
- Justin Barrett and John Harvey captured 1st place in the Doubles Division, beating over
180 other doubles teams.
- Thom Kelley bowled the highest handicap game for men for the entire tournament and
received a trophy for that outstanding accomplishment.
-
In addition to these 1st place finishes, Rich Blankenship and Andrew Plummer placed 9th in the Doubles Division.
Congratulations to all of you for a job well done! We are so proud of you!
