Join Y-ME Illinois for our First Annual Book Club Discussion

Y-ME Illinois is pleased to invite you to our first ever book club meeting on Monday, April 16th from 6:00pm until 7:00pm.  We will be discussing Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy by Geralyn Lucas.  The first ever book club meeting will take place here in the Y-ME Illinois offices (now located at 300 W. Adams, Suite 430).

Geralyn Lucas' Why I Wore Lipstick... is a memoir of a young breast cancer patient and discusses every part of the cancer experience, from surgery to chemotherapy to intimacy.  Lucas's book is unique because it manages to leave the reader with an optimistic sense of empowerment.
