KING PAR SUPERSTORE OPENS NEW GOLF ACADEMY MARCH 30TH

PGA Master Professional Bill Baldwin will run the new Golf Academy

Flushing, Mich. (March 9, 2006)—King Par Golf in Flushing Michigan announces the opening of its new King Par Golf Academy. The new Golf Academy will open for operation on March 30, 2006.

The new King Par Golf Academy is part of a new plan to update and enhance the teaching facilities and opportunities at King Par, one of Michigan’s largest retail golf shops.

Bill Baldwin, a PGA Master Professional, and former golf professional at Franklin Hills, has been hired to develop and run the new Golf Academy. Bill has been voted among the best teacher's in the State for two years. Bill brings a great deal of teaching experience to King Par. He has worked with many of the top instructors in the country including, Hank Haney, Jim Mclean, Martin Hall, Dave Pelz and others.

"I am very excited about the opportunity Mr. Baird has given me to bring my teaching knowledge and experience to King Par," said Baldwin. "I look forward to the opening of this new state of the art Academy and developing wonderful golf programs in both teaching and club fitting for all levels of golfers in this area."

Bill Baird, owner of the King Par Corporation and Orlimar Company, hired Baldwin in an effort to upgrade and draw more customers to his facility, as well as managing and creating a new state of the art teaching facility with instructors.

New academy offers the latest in teaching technology

The new King Par Golf Academy plan includes an increased practice grass area, new indoor/outdoor teaching studios, and a new short game facility in order to provide a first class opportunity for lessons and practice. In addition, Director of Instruction, Bill Baldwin is excited to announce the following new teaching systems to the Academy:

HOT STIX TECHNOLOGIES – This is an elite custom fitting system. The company was founded in Scottsdale, AZ in 2000. It has tested, built and custom fitted thousands of irons, drivers and shafts. The company also has data on over 52 models of golf balls. This is the first opportunity that the everyday golfer can be analyzed and fitted in the same way as PGA Tour Professionals. A HOT STIX custom fitting session will be by appointment only and by certified fitters.

ACCUSPORT introduces The New Vector Pro Launch System. This system is bundled with Hot Stix Technologies Fitting System, allowing custom club fitters to deliver a dynamic custom fitting experience by combining all the benefits of the new Vector Pro with the state-of-the-art Hot Stix Technologies fitting software. This system, with the data that it provides, gives the golfer the ultimate fit and confidence to play their best.

V1 PRO – The leader in total game improvement. This digital coaching system offers the students the most advanced golf instruction available. 79% golfers feel the use of the V1 Pro by teaching professionals will increase the effectiveness of their golf lesson. Visualization is the key to improvement. V1 Pro makes it possible to show students exactly what is happening with their swing, which definitely takes the guesswork out of golf instruction. The SAM PUTT LAB – This system provides insight into the putting stroke unlike any other technology. KING PAR GOLF ACADEMY TEACHING and FITTING STUDIO – A new building has been built and designed for club fitting and golf lessons. It provides an opportunity to incorporate all the above-mentioned technology to fit and teach the students. It has been designed with year round instruction in mind and enhanced student learning.

Hourly rates and group pricing packages are being developed.

Bill Baldwin will be taking an active role in developing new programs for golfers at the Academy. He will also be teaching private and group lessons throughout the year.

Lessons will be offered as single lessons, a series of multiple lessons, and group clinics. Bill Baldwin will charge $50 per 1/2 hour with a series of 4 1/2 hour lessons with the V1 video system costing $180. Staff lessons will be $40 per 1/2 hour with a V1 video series for $140. Group clinics and specialty workshops will be priced according to time and student ratio.

In addition more pricing packages will be developed for the SAM PUTT LAB and HOT STIX custom fitting.
