Questions at Phi Gallery
Hotel Indigo’s Phi
Gallery features an extraordinary mother-and-son collaboration from August 4 to September 30. Maureen O'Hara
Pesta and Jesse Pesta have applied two significantly different mediums--pastel painting and black-and-white photography--to capture images that
contain a degree of mystery and demand participation of the viewer. The two artists have long shared a common interest in this visual approach; it has
been a recurring theme in their individual works for many years. This show at Hotel Indigo’s Phi Gallery is their fourth joint exhibit in
Indiana. The two chose to focus squarely on fleeting moments that strike an emotional chord and in their singularity contain a
universal insight. More details here.
The public is invited
to a reception for the artists on Friday, August 22 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hotel Indigo, which is located at 400 Brown Street in downtown
Columbus.
