What We Do and Who We Are
The Tennessee Infrastructure
Alliance (TIA) is Tennessee's advocate for adequate infrastructure. A
not-for-profit membership organization, TIA works to build support for
sufficient and consistent funding for infrastructure maintenance and
improvement by communicating with policy makers and the public through
targeted activities and communication strategies.
TIA was established in 2005 to highlight the important fact that
adequate infrastructure is critical to the livelihoods of Tennesseans
and a higher
quality of life for Tennessee's communities.
TIA will bring together those with
a stake in enhanced economic development, safety and quality of life.
TIA membership includes:
-Public officials from
Tennessee cities,
counties and regional
authorities.
-Businesses and business
groups with a vested
interest in adequate
Tennessee infrastructure.
-Chambers of commerce and
other not-for-profit
organizations representing
Tennesseans affected by
infrastructure policy.
By working together, these groups
can protect their investments in existing infrastructure, attract
better jobs and create a more prosperous future
for Tennessee.
